9th Eubank Conference 2021

The Center for Computational Finance and Economic Systems (CoFES) is teaming up with the Departments of Statistics and Sport Management at Rice University to host the 9th Eubank Conference on Real World Markets.

The April 26 webinar on Sports Analytics and Gaming Risk Management will feature keynote speaker Ed Feng, Founder of The Power Rank, 10 renowned industry experts, and a panel discussion on sports betting now and then. Lectures will underscore the rising popularity of international sports, the use of analytics to recognize talent and maximize performance, the growth of the global sports betting market and the importance of data-driven betting strategies, as well as industry concerns, and the economic impact of legalized sports betting markets.

Due to the generosity of our benefactors, the conference webinar is free to all attendees. There is also no cost for the April 27 short course for current Rice students and postdoctoral fellows. There is a $100 registration fee for the short course, for non-Rice students.
