As one of the premier and longest-running international meetings on the statistical analysis of time series data, the NBER-NSF Time Series Conference has attracted leading researchers from around the world for 45 years. The conference has also developed strong ties with the U.S. Census Bureau, the Federal Reserve, Bell Labs, the Center for Disease Control, and other non-university research centers.
The 2021 NBER-NSF Time Series Conference will be co-hosted by CoFES and the Departments of Statistics and Economics at Rice University on October 15-16, 2021 in Duncan Hall.
This year’s conference will be a virtual event with 18 invited lectures transmitted through Zoom with operations managed from Rice’s McMurtry Auditorium. The Friday and Saturday conference program will contain six sessions of live presentations, breakout, and poster session discussions organized according to Central Daylight Time U.S. and Canada, or GMT-5.
